Starbucks Hires Boy With Autism

What This Starbucks Employee Did For a Boy With Autism Will Fill Your Heart With Happiness

Sam Forbes is a 17-year-old Starbucks barista who has autism, and dancing is one of the ways he stays focused at work. After a video of his savvy moves went viral, Ellen called upon him and his boss, Sam Ali, to appear as guests on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. In the clip above, the duo tells the story of how they met at a camp for children with special needs, and after hearing that Sam's ideal job was to be a barista, Chris made his dream a reality. Sam and Chris go on to explain how their relationship has evolved since then, and their moving tale inspired Ellen to present them with a couple of surprises. We teared up after seeing their reactions to her gifts, so we have an inkling that you will too.
