Stickee Buns: Kid Friendly or Are You Kidding?

Stickee Buns: Kid Friendly or Are You Kidding?

Babies can be wiggly lil ones, can't they? Feeding a babe is never a simple task and when they start sliding down the chair, you are facing an uphill battle to keep them propped up. A New Jersey couple developed a line of baby clothes called Stickee Buns. The soft cotton onesie and pant sets ($40) come with built-in traction in the form of little Cinnabons on the tush and back. The buns are designed to keep your lil one in place - be it in a high chair, a swing or a car seat. What's your opinion of this invention?

most baby gear intended for small babies and children that would slip in any way has straps so this is cute but silly and overpriced

Ummm..... considering I just got back from breakfast, and held my son in one hand, (from slipping in that wooden highchair) and ate my meal with the other....I'm going to the website and buying some now! Love them!

oo i think they're kinda cute, sound expensive but if they are a small company and just getting started (I don't know if this is the case or not) that could be why. But my niece broke her leg when she was about 6 months old slipping off something so I think that if these work they're a pretty neat idea. And it's not like they say anything offensive or have "juicy" written on them or whatever they are a cute and tactful design that facilitates the need without being too outrageous and while still looking cute i may be silly but I think the name is fun and funny

"who doesn't love Stickee/Cinna-bons?!?!?!?"I don't. I also never had a problem with my kids slipping out of seats. And I have a thing about stuff on the butts of clothes.

My friends and I think these are great! My girlfriend got them as a shower gift recently, and they were the hit of the party. You have to buy the layette stuff anyway....so why not buy pieces that are actually helpful. Plus...they were SO soft...great quality cotton. If $40 is too much for you to spend....split it with a friend, and give it as a joint gift.

As a new Mom, I think they are a fabulous idea....I've seen them posted on other blogs and all the Mom's agree that they wished they had them for their babies. I mean....come on...who doesn't love Stickee/Cinna-bons?!?!?!? Plus - if you just stuck something on your babies clothes, the adhesive would probably ruin the fabric.

I suppose it could work, but why pay all this money when you could easily fashion your own and stick something to any of your kid's clothes?

My girlfriend received the Stickee-Buns two-piece set as a shower gift, and she loves them! Apparently they really work, and she even purchased the larger size.

I don't have any kids yet, but I think this is so cute AND practical. I do see how to price is a major drawback, so I'd probably get some 99 cent velcro strips from a craft store and make my own
