Strollers Recalled Due to Fall and Choke Hazard

Strollers Recalled Due to Fall and Choke Hazard

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced today that Bugaboo is recalling two stroller models due to 58 complaints that the handles of their carrycots detached. No injuries have been reported, but to avoid the risk of choking or injuries from the handle falling, the company has placed the Bugaboo Cameleon and Bugaboo Donkey on recall. Over 50,000 of these strollers were sold between Sept. 2009 and Dec. 2012 in the U.S. and Canada.

If you, or another parent you know has one of these strollers, Bugaboo recommends immediately removing the carry handle from the stroller, and calling them at (800) 460-2922 for a free replacement handle.
