Study Ball and Chain: Kid Friendly or Are You Kidding?

Most parents recognize the importance of making sure their children get a good education, but one product takes further action. lol isn't that considered child abuse. I think that would be hilarious for a teenager (if the ball weighed more) but not for young kids. I'm pretty sure I would have come to resent my parents if they had put a contraption like that on me.

Other than the fact that this is totally horrible and wrong, it's dangerous! What if the kid has to use the restroom or there is a fire? The site says a "safety key" is included, but COME ON!
