Taser Your Child at Work Day: Prison Officials Placed on Leave

Take Your Child to Work Day gives parents an opportunity to show their children what they do on a daily basis and open their youngsters' minds about their own futures. But, it appears five Florida state prison authorities had a different idea when it came to showing kids the occupational ropes — the workers allegedly used a stun gun on visiting youth. Children between the ages of eight and fourteen were tased on April 23 while at Martin Correctional Facility. Those accused of shocking the youth have been placed on paid administration leave pending the investigation. The report did not say if the case involves parents and their offspring.
