Yep, macgirl. My son also wears a wide right now. I'm hoping it thins out a bit in the future. Hee. :)

Schnappy we did the same thing with Stride Rite. I was a little shocked that they were like $50. Looks like my little guy has wide feet so most regular shoes are not fitting him at all. Looks like I'll be going back to Stride Rite soon as he is growing like a weed and almost out of these already. Anyone know who else sells wide baby shoes for less?

We had to find shoes that wouldn't cut into her feet cause they were so fat on top. They have thankfully slimmed down and I can buy her all sorts of shoes, but shoe buying for the first 2 years was a pain. The same with socks I couldn't put to tight of socks on her or they would cut into her.

I just bought my son his first "official" pair of walking shoes last week (previously he had worn shoes, but wasn't walking). I took him to Stride Rite for measurement and left with a cute-ish pair of first walkers. Now that I know his size, I can shop for cuter and cheaper pairs. :)
