Come now. The easiest way to teach a kid to have nice handwriting is to sit down and teach them and for them to practice by repetition. Do craft projects such as making cards, poems and song lyrics on nice paper with colored pens and markers to decorate the house. Kids will learn typing out of necessity if they have access to a computer during their school years. Having legible handwriting is a workplace skill that does not come naturally but is a real asset if you have it. One hint is that unlike in the picture is is easier to learn cursive with a pen than with a pencil as pens flow more smoothly over the paper.
