Tricks My Mama Taught Me: Snickers

My grandma knows how to stretch a sweet treat. Having raised 11 kids, I believe this trick came from quick thinking when she had one candy bar and several children who wanted a taste. To find out her solution,

.

After chilling the Snickers, she slices it width wise into thin pieces. You can get about a dozen from a bar. What a brilliant Grandma :) I like to eat all my candy bars in bite size pieces - really lets you taste them as opposed to taking two huge bites and then the whole thing is gone.

I remember my parents doing this with 3 Muskateers bars. Then I found out it was because we were so poor they couldn't afford to buy more than one candy bar! :)
