There are a ton of options for umbrella strollers and they range from $20 to $300. It really depends on what you're looking for. The basic umbrella stroller free from bells and whistles can be as cheap as $20. I find these are great for short term use--especially if you're going on vacation and just want something super convenient to use for a week or so, but they do not hold up for long term use. They also are usually pretty small and never recline, which makes napping difficult. If you're looking for something for long-term use, I have the Maxi-Cosi Mila and love it!!! It's really light weight and super-easy to fold and carry around (it even has a carrying handle). It's easy to fly with because it folds so quickly when you're going through security.Bonus--it comes with adapters for a car seat. My daughter had already outgrown her infant seat by the time I got it, but I would have loved to use this when she was younger instead of the bulky travel system I had. I live in LA so I drive everywhere. I'm constantly getting in and out of the car and probably open and close my stroller 20 times a day. The Mila is great because it's so easy to fold and fits even in my over-packed, under-sized trunk. Even my daughter likes it because it's comfortable and when she's tired it reclines for her to take a nap. I get compliments on it whenever I'm out with it. I went with the blue Mila (the frame is blue too which makes it stand out) but there are other colors. I got mine at Joli Bebe in Glendale about a month ago after trying pretty much everything in the store and couldn't be happier with my decision. I pasted the link here if you want to check it out on their site. http://www.maxi-cosi.com/us-en/strollers/mila

Check local garage sales! We got our umbrella stroller for $5, and it turns out everyone and their brother has the same one, but paid $25- $30 for it! Also, our Sears has a SUPER cute Tigger or Piglet umbrella stroller (with little ears on top) for about $25. I love having our umbrella stroller, we keep it in the car 24/7!
