I agree with the bulk waste on a general scale but that's where the freezing comes into play. We buy in bulk and I freeze it into individual portions and put them in baggies for later. Formula kind of isn't the best example because formula fed babies go through a LOT of formula.. my daughter was drinking 15-20 of the normal sized cans a month.
