What's Your Favorite Pregnancy Flick?

What's Your Favorite Pregnancy Flick?

While the Miracle of Life is informative, I prefer the hand-in-popcorn type of maternity movie. I haven't seen Knocked Up yet, but the first PG-13 movie I ever watched, For Keeps is at the top of my list.

FOR KEEPS HANDS DOWN!!! Darcy: I'm pregnant. Can you pass the turnips? Darcy: Oh my God! My God, it's huge, it's a monster! It's a giant boa-constrictor, get that thing away from me, get it away, put it aways before it kills somebody! Darcy: I tried on my dress, for the prom, I look like a Thanksgiving Day float. Also I'm itching everywhere, my ankles are fat, there's something hanging out of my butt, the article's not going good and now I need a haircut. Stan: There's something hanging out of your what? Darcy: Well, when you're pregnant, sometimes you get hemorroids, okay? Stan: Bummer.

I love For Keeps. In Jr. High we talked our home-ec teacher into letting us watch this in class. Molly Ringwald is one of my favorites. I also loved She's Having a Baby. Classic Kevin Bacon. John Hughes movies are my favorites.

"Nine Months" was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I loved "Knocked Up" but haven't seen the other two.

i can't believe no one has said, "she's having a baby". i've seen that movie so many times on late night cable. i have a 19-month old, so i know it's not necessarily the most realistic (i did enjoy "knocked up") . but i guess i have a soft spot for kevin bacon..

For Keeps and Baby Boom are my favorite. Knocked Up was just okay. I wonder if it was too hyped up for me to enjoy it when I finally watched it.
