Hmmmmmmmmmm........I'm a single mom.I pay for everything - my household bills, and everything that my son needs (with some help here and there from my family). My son's father has decided that he refuses to pay child support until the court tells him to. We go to court in two weeks.Even then, I see myself footing the bill for most of my son's stuff, because most of the child support will probably go to daycare costs (he started at a daycare today, sniff sniff, :( )

Currently I'm a stay at home mom so hubby pays for things although we have a joint account. I'll be going back to work in two months so then we'll both share responsibility.

Well, since I am a stay at home mom, my husband foots the bill for everything but sometimes when I pick up a part time job, babysitting, I put the money into a bank account under our son's name. I hope that someday he will use that money for college or life.

The Goose and I share in all things -- so *we* pay for everything as a unit, out of our money. (We do not have separate accounts.)

This Mommy pays 100% of child-related expenses, including private school tuition, food, diapers, clothes, etc. Daddy pays household expenses.

I make more but we have a joint account and the kids are taken care of by both of us. His insurance coverage is best so he pays that. It works out pretty equally actually.
