A Woman Who Didn't Know She Was 37 Weeks Pregnant Gives Birth on a Plane

Ada Guan received the ultimate surprise while flying over the Pacific Ocean — the birth of her baby girl. The 23-year-old was taken aback because she had no idea she was even pregnant. Ada had recently been to the doctor's office for a checkup, but the doctor didn't detect the pregnancy, and a pregnancy test she took came back negative. During a flight from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, to Tokyo with her boyfriend, however, Ada went into labor, and with the help of a doctor on board, she delivered baby Chloe at 37 weeks. Chloe's grandmother, Sandra Branch, told CTV News, "I said, 'What? How could this happen? She wasn't pregnant!' Well, it turns out she was." Both the mother and baby arrived safely in Tokyo.
