This Photo of a Mother Taking an Exam While She's in Labor Is Incredibly Inspiring
Some moms really can do it all. A Georgia woman not only went through 20 hours of labor but did so while completing a psychology exam. Tommitrise Collins, a criminal justice major, said Thursday was the only day she could take the test, so she lugged her laptop to the hospital to work on it as she struggled through labor pains.
"It took me 4-5 hours after the opening of the test to try to put the pain to the side and do it so I wouldn't have to do it later and I could enjoy my newborn," Tommitrise said.
As Tommitrise completed her exam, with contractions being three minutes apart, her sister snapped a photo of this victorious moment and posted it to Facebook, where it became a viral sensation.

The new mom got her happy ending with a healthy baby girl and a solid B on her test. Though, according to Tommitrise, she's not happy with her score and plans to retake the exam. For anyone wondering where she gets her motivation and determination from, Tommitrise quite simply revealed her daughter as the source.
"I don't want to just barely make it by, I want my child to live comfortably, and I want to show people that just because I am considered a young mother doesn't mean I have to be considered a bad mother," she said.
