Worship Your Belly: A Salute to Mothers

Women may complain about their pregnant and postpartum stomachs, but lilsugar is celebrating the stretch marks, thinned skin, love handles, muffin tops, c-section scars — the badges of honor that come with being a mom — with Belly Worship, our Mother's Day theme. From now until May 11th, we'll be bringing you the best of all things belly related.

Share a picture of your bloated or toned, clothed or bare, pregnant or back-in-shape postpartum belly and tell us what you love most about it. To find out how,

.

You can participate in our special celebration of all things belly by joining the Belly Worship Group and submitting pictures of your belly before, during or post pregnancy in a blog entry. Make sure to tag your entry "Belly Worship." You can also join the Belly Worship Group and just just upload a picture (just make sure you tag it "Belly Worship" too!) If you are confused, check out our guide to posting a blog for pointers.

I thought my pregnant belly was so cute I loved showing it off I'll have to see if I can find mine too. I don't much like my belly now (I still look kinda pregnant 2 years after and with diet and exercise) but I don't care I'll still take my daughter to the pool in my bikini.

I have to do this before the baby comes. I have no problem sharing my belly, but I probably won't wear shorts this summer.

This is a great idea! Here is a website that is very similar to your idea. I love reading through it. It's called The Shape of a Mother. http://theshapeofamother.com/Beware... Not safe for work .... it contains some nudity (not sexual though!)
