lil Find: Kammi Teething Doll

I'm a big proponent of homemade teethers like cold food, but natural remedies aren't practical when you're on the go. These Kammi Teething Dolls ($20) offer a simple solution to soothing baby's ailing gums. They look a bit like cotton gnomes, but the terrycloth dolls are crafted out of knots. You just dampen the knots, store the doll in the freezer for a while and then let baby bite away. The best part? The dolls can be machine washed.

My daughter is going through the same thing Macgirl (she just got her 5th tooth yesterday:D). I don't know if your son uses soothers, but my daughter never did untill I found some teething ones... they have little bumps on them that rub their gums and seem to make them feel better. You can find them at toy's 'r' us. But I really like these little cloth dudes to, I think I might make some :)

My son has never really been into teethers, even when he has been miserable (like lately getting in his molars). I've tried frozen washcloths, purchased toy teethers like Sophie the Giraffe, and similar, but he'd just push them aside most of the time. I think they only interested him with his first couple of teeth. Otherwise, these are adorable. Alas, for us, it's just tylenol that helps now.

My poor little guy is hating life right now. He has 4 teeth but a ton of little bumps on his gums with teeth just waiting to pop out. I feel like he needs like a long teether as he keeps sticking his fingers down the side of his mouth. This might just work out or I might try crafting something at home. What a great post!
