lil Tip: Signature Wrap

Whether we're talking about Christmas or birthday parties, tags and cards inevitably fall off gifts. To avoid this in the past, I've selected one paper pattern and bought roll upon roll of it. When our family arrived at festivities with bags of goodies in hand, it was easy for everyone to realize that we were responsible for the striped packages.

We usually choose a wrapping paper that is appropriate for all occasions, so we can continue to use our signature wrap for the rest of the year.

i love this idea--i try to stick to a few to keep it cute under the tree...i just love wrapping paper in general and have been trying to find cute ones on sale for next year.

Yeah but then buying enough for the entire year, every event we go to, you're talking about ten times as much paper. Plus I'd get bored with it as well. Also, I have to say, cards or notes falling off has never been a problem for us, much less an inevitability. We've never lost a card off a package given to us. I write our stuff on the paper because I always forget a card. *lol*

I always buy matching paper and bags, usually to go with whatever theme is on our tree this year. This year it was metallic green and gold with brown ribbon. All gotten from Target for $10 or $15.

We always make little "books" of a section of the wrapping paper and write the to and from on those, and then tape the back to the present. I like variety way too much to buy several of the same roll.

In order for me to find one I can be sure no one else ever uses, making ours unique enough to not have to sign, I'd have to pay way too much. I just forgo cards and write the to and from message directly on the paper.
