Iron-rich spinach keeps wee ones' blood healthy and helps build muscles. Sauteed spinach may make adults' mouths happy, but kids are more likely to eat the veggie if it is broken down more. A spinach pesto added to lil ones' favorite pastas or poultry dishes is a great way to introduce the green.

My son loves spinach boats. I put a little dab of ranch dressing in each spinach leaf. That's it, and he'll eat all that's on his plate. He hates any kind of pesto, though.
