Artificial Insemination

The most common fertility treatment, artificial insemination or intrauterine insemination (IUI) involves injecting a concentrated amount of sperm directly into the uterus via a thin flexible tube called a catheter. Recommended for couples where the man has slow swimmers or a low sperm count, IUI is often combined with fertility drugs to maximize its chances for success.
