While we don't recommend hours spent in direct sunlight, vitamin D in moderation will enhance your mom-to-be glow and is likely to improve your mood. Be sure to wear a strong, plant-based and paraben-free sunscreen, like Alba Botanica SPF 45 ($11), use an umbrella or wear a hat, and avoid the hottest times of day (midafternoon).
