Go with plain almond milk and protein powder for a smooth flavor, or opt for vanilla or chocolate flavors for a fun combo of tastes.

Postrun Protein Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup almond milk
    1 scoop protein powder
    1/4 cup Greek no-fat yogurt
    1/4 teaspoon vanilla
    1/4 teaspoon honey
    1/4 of an avocado
    1 banana
    1/2 cup ice

Directions

  1. Place all the ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth.
  2. Enjoy right away after your long run!
