Spicy Mezcal Purista Margarita

Ingredients
- 1/2 ounce agave nectar
1 ounce fresh lime juice, plus lime wedge for garnish
2 ounces Mezcal Espadin
1 pinch sea salt
2 dashes orange bitters
2 dashes habañero bitters
Ice
Spicy salt mixture
Jalapeño, sliced
- For the spicy salt mixture
1 cup smoked sea salt
2 tablespoons ground chipotle pepper
Directions
- Add agave, lime juice, Mezcal, sea salt, orange bitters, and habañero bitters into an ice-filled shaker. Shake vigorously.
- In a double rocks glass, use a lime wedge to moisten half of the rim and dip in the spicy salt mixture. Strain cocktail into the glass, and top with ice. Garnish with a few slices of jalapeño.
