Before getting started with the bath, give your pup's nails a quick clip. If you're concerned about cutting them too short, then use a nail grinder ($30). This ensures you won't take nails to the quick, which contains nerves and the nail's blood supply. Using a grinder may take a little longer, but you'll feel more confident about trimming your dog's claws. This way, if your furry friend isn't excited about bath time, you won't get gashed during the struggle.
