Dog Poo Takeaway Bags

Bare Bones: Dog Poo Bags

I was perfectly happy carrying around my BioBags, or even just grabbing an old shopping bag for quick potty walks, until I saw these super cute (and biodegradable!) Dog Poo Bags from a Berlin based design firm Jungeschachtel! How adoro are they? Like little poopie take out bags. . .

And, if picking up poop is one of your least favorite things to do, you might just make it through without gagging, since the tops of these bags consist of a cardboard like material that lets you pick up the "deposit" without having to feel your pup's waste. At $30 for a pack of 16 bags, I might have to order some of these as gifts – the hilarious messages on the front are totally the selling point for me!

i bought something like this as a joke for a fried, but they were WAY cheaper. You can find stuff like this is the pet store. As for the poop guy, personally I would NOT be okay with that and whenever I saw a poop on my lawn I would go to his house ring the bell and ask him to pick it up. I would also look into what the laws and fines are for not picking up after your animal and report him. I mean really, he can't pick up poop when it happens? Or you could even go the route, and complain that he traspasses on your property daily and tell him if he keeps it up you'll call the cops. It's a bit extreme, but I can't STAND people like that who think they can do whatever they want.

Did I read that right? $30 for 16 bags?? Um, get real. My dog sometimes makes 2 "presents" when I'm walking, so at that rate, I'd be paying $120 a month for poo bags. Why do that when I can use old Walmart bags that work just as well? Oh, and dean--I have a similar neighbor. My solution has just been to avoid confrontation and just scoop the poop. It's not worth it to have a grudge with someone over something so trivial.

re: the bags - that's a lot of money. suck it up and pick up the poop - it's not like you are really touching it! to save money i reuse the produce bags from the grocery store.

let me know what you decide to do ... i have a similar problem with the neighbor across the street - he allows his german shepherd to poop on my front lawn and never bothers to come over and clean it up. i have a hard time believeing he doesn't see him doing it!

i have a problem kind of related to this and i would like to hear what you guys think. i live accross the street from a man with a large black lab, beautiful, wonderful dog. but, his owner? not so much. he doesn't want dog poop in his yard so he has trained his dog to go in other peoples yard and then cleans it up at his own discretion. i overheard him tell an old man to the right of him "I try to clean it up at least once a week for YOU" the old man replied that he doesn't have a dog (so not cleaning anything for him). the man walked away from him saying "I know, I know" This is a large younger man. what would you do? i want to pick it up and move it back to the mans yard but it seems aggressive and intrusive, but, my other neighbors on this side of the street says that that is exactly what the man who lived here before me would have done. perhaps this man gets away with this because i am the only aggressive person on our street?
