Is Kitty's Dress Up Time Super Scratchy or Super Simple?

Is Kitty's Dress Up Time Super Scratchy or Super Simple?

I love seeing festive collars on both doggies and kitties but, admittedly, have a lot less personal experience trying to coax a cat into a special get-up – and I've heard enough tales to make me scared to try! My childhood feline, Precious, was tricky enough to lure into her crate for the vet and, to this day, I still can't imagine trying to coo her into a fancy collar or costume. All you kitty owners out there, tell me the truth, could you dress your cat . . . and escape unscathed or unscratched?

I have three cats. 2 of them are perfectly fine with clothes and the other one hates dress up time.

My cats have about 3 outfits and they have no problem with them at all.

I have NO desire to dress up my puppy... I just never got into the doggy-clothes thing. I feel bad for the pets!

I got my bf's cat into my dog's halloween costume last year, and she was out of it on 30 seconds.

My cats enjoy it! They put out their little paws once I get the outfit over their heads so I can put them through the arm holes.

I would have never considered trying to dress up my girls UNTIL I was watching Martha Stewart and she had a vet on who introduced me to the wonder that is "the mommy clip" for cats. I tried "the mommy clip" and my girls are calm, blissful and tame. I can screw with them for hours as long as "the mommy clip" is firmly attached to the back of their necks and they cannot and do not want to do a thing about it.

Santa Kitty was none too pleased last year when I stuck a hat and cape on her.

I have tried, i can get the outfit on, but than they just stand there all crouched, eyes wide, like they are now frozen in time, sometimes they roll over, sometimes they bite at it. I stopped trying because it was giving them a complex.
