Pampered Pals: Cat Climb Condo

It's like child's toy . . . supersized! Climb is a stackable five cube creation with peek-a-boo holes for a delightfully mod living space for a kitty. Each box decreases in size to form a stable tower and can be detached and placed in side-by-side groupings or in different rooms of the house. Made on a wood base, the set comes in a warm (black, white, orange, rose and yellow) or cool (brown, white, blue, green and beige) fabric color combination for $285. Come soon, will kitty find this in her playroom?

At first glance, I loved this! But looking closer, how does the kitty get in the top blocks? Obviously they can't climb up inside, since all the blocks have tops and bottoms. So are they supposed to jump into the holes on the top blocks? That wouldn't work...

I don't think cats will like these much. This is more about aesthetics than actual function, which is silly. There's nothing to sink their claws into and actually climb, and some of the holes are too small to get through AND spaced too far apart to make it a continuous climb-through.

these ARE much cooler looking than a carpet tree.. but are they as sturdy?

I'd have to agree with you oatmeal_bliss! My cats like cardboard boxes and tear-off milk rings better than anything I have bought them! I will admit though that it would be nice to have a cat tree that matches my decor!

Hmmm, I don't think my cat would find that any more entertaining than a regular cardboard box.

Extremely cute and sooooo much better than my boyfriend's carpet cat tree.
