Pampered Pals: Cat Spa

When you're out working to make money to provide premium grub for the kitties, consider adding a Cat Spa ($25.49) to your home and give your pets a special treat. In addition to snuggling with you, many kitties love rubbing against furniture and other household objects — in addition to their instincts to scratch, cats rub their faces on things to release pheromones, which have a calming effect on them.

So, playing up on their natural desires, this product offers four different experiences all-in-one. There are ripples that act like a massaging brush, acupressure pads for cats to test out on their paw pads, body-stroke groomers to help them reach those hard-to-reach spots, and even a gum simulator (catnip optional) for cats to rub their cheeks and chins on. I think it sounds like a neat way to pamper your pet!

I've wondered about buying this for my kitties. I love PetSugar, I get to find out that people's pets actually use these things.

I have had one of these for almost three years now and my cats like it . . . when i spray it with catnip. My little kitten uses the base part as a scratching place ALL THE TIME, shes weird like that, also loves to use my stacked up magazines as a scratching post. My big kitty likes the top part, the bumpy volcano looking thing, she actually chews on it too. She's a weirdo too and chews on lots of stuff. But if it weren't for catnip I think they would mostly ignore it.

Maybe I should get this for my boyfriend's cat, but I'll bet she'd still prefer scratching my couch.

too funny! I'm wondering if it will distract Ricardo from his boyfriend (ie., one of our dining room chairs that he loves to rub against ALL.DAY.)
