Pampered Pals: Lab Step Stool

Give pets a leg up with this aptly-designed stool. Just as functional as more traditional step designs, it makes a nice addition to any animal lover's room and could even serve as a small side table. Fear not, all non-pet owners out there, the nonskid strips and solid pine steps are sturdy enough to give you a boost around the house as well. Orvis' Lab Step Stool comes in either a black ash or cinnamon finish for $249.

Very nice but i think the steps should have carpet or some kind of thread on them....that smooth step is dangerous!

those are cute but i wouldn't pay that much for them. i had a friend make some steps w/ carpet for my old pooch cuz he couldn't jump anymore (and our bed is super high anyway). then after he passed i couldnt' get rid of them and now my new pups use them cuz they can't jump that high yet either. plus they're good for putting the laundry basket on when i'm folding clothes :)

i think its a great idea sometimes when pets get older jumping up gets harder

My dog is a lot slower at jumping on my bed than he used to be. I think it's because he's put on weight and has to second guess whether he's going to make it or not. So, I'll probably make my dog a step stool. But there is no way that I'll spend $250 or even $100 for steps, no matter how cute they are. Some things just need to be left to those with money to burn.

My dad built steps for our dog Gus when his arthritis got so bad that he couldn't jump on the bed. Our steps had carpeting on them so the dog wouldn't slip. These fancy steps could use some of that. This is great for older dogs!

I bought some steps for Cuba he runs up them and then jumps off the bed that is what I was trying to avoid. At least I have a platform bed now so it is really low.
