Pet Pic of the Day: Daisy's Fort

I remember building more than a few elaborate forts and castles from boxes, tables, and blankets when I was younger. Nine-week-old Daisy here is in her prime fort building stage, but has taken a much simpler approach – just climb under the coffee table for a nice nap! I wish I would have known how easy it could have been.

Congrats to Daisy and CocoChic for being chosen as our Pet Pic of the Day! Don't forget to submit your favorite photos to our Pet Pics group (learn how to upload your photos here) for a chance to see your furry pals on PetSugar!

She's discovered the space between the wall and the couch today and can't figure out how to get out from there. :P

When we first got Basil and he was teeny-tiny, he used to hide under the sofa. It was almost impossible to get him out of there. Next time he actively builds himself a fort, I'll try to get a video of it. It's pretty impressive, actually. :rotfl:

Awww, Daisy! Cutest cocker around! Brando went through a fort building stage until he outgrew his little ledge under the coffee table. He was so upset!

Daisy! So cute. My dog is in a permanent fort-building stage, I think.

So cute! And, wait - dogs go through a fort-building stage? My Basil has been creating little structures out of the couch cushions lately, and crawling inside. And we always call it "building a fort." I didn't realize that this was a common thing. :?
