Share Frustrating Moments For Moment of Frustration Day

I cannot resist a bizarre holiday . . . umm, remember my celebration of National Hat Day?! Anyway, I just discovered another one but I can't seem to hone in on a date. National Moment of Frustration Day takes place sometime between Oct. 10-13, so let's honor it today by venting. I'll go first . . . I wish my pooch did not loooooooove company as much as he does. He's so mellow with just me and I wish he could extend that attitude no matter who visits from my BFF or close pals to any maintenance or delivery person. My little scene stealer needs to be in the spotlight whenever a new audience shows up and hates leaving the room with the most action. Now it's your turn – share your biggest pet peeve in the comments below.

Diva sulks, she puts her head down wont make eye contact and sulks. It doesn't irritate me as much as make me sad, I want her to be happy.... but overall I couldn't be happier with my dog!

This one is a little selfish and silly... I wish my dog was excited to see me as she is when my husband comes into the room. She LOVES him even though he does nothing for her. I try to remind her that I was the one who took her out of jail (that's what I call the animal shelter), buys her food, takes her to the dog park, I buy all the toys her heart desires etc.

MOst of the time I love to play fetch with Charlotte. The problem is she'll play until she drops! We'll stop, and she'll still bring the ball and drop it in your lap and stare at you to keep playing, doesn't matter if you're having dinner, watching TV or even (Yes, I know it's gross) sitting on the toilet! She's gotta play ball now!

I take My dog, Eegor, to work with me pretty much every day of the week. He's 1 year old and stopped having accidents at home about 6 months ago. At work, he goes pee outside, but refuses to go poo anywhere but on the carpet in our lounge area. I don't understand it! It's completely embarrassing, and I feel like I've tried everything!

Not to get off topic but that is one cute dog in the picture!

I wish Zena weren't such a bed hog! She's 33 inches long (we measured), yet she steals 3/4 of MY queen-sized bed leaving me with this little sliver of space to sleep. It isn't fun when you want to roll over and you find you can't...without running into a dog on one side and the floor on the other. It drives me nuts!!! And to make it worse, after stealing that amount of bed, she curls into a ball near my stomach so I can't get to the other 3/4 of the bed!!! ARGH!

My pet peeve is similiar to petsugar. My yorkie is so calm and sweet when we are home alone but as soon as anyone comes over she is bouncing off the wall and gets mad if she doesn't get all of their attention. People don't believe me when I say she isn't usually like that.

I think I have the same problem as you, Pet. Brando's such a sweetheart with me and lazes around the apartment, but once someone comes over he's constantly running around and jumping to give them kisses. Not everyone likes to be bowled over by a 50 lb basset hound :oy:

I wish Echo would be more interested in other playmates at the dog park than his ball. He is absolutely obsessed over it, and sometimes I wonder why I took him to the dog park in the first place if he's just going to ignore all the others around him.

I also want to ad how B-Bop enjoys pooping on the dark brown rug. We have like 10 rugs in the house (because we have tile floors) but he ONLY poops on the one that you can't SEE poop on and therefore step on it. I just don't get it. jeez.

Toby can let himself out through a dog door off the garage, but sometimes he gets lazy and doesn't go all the way out. He'll get his head and front legs through the dog door and decide that he's close enough to being outside. It's so frustrating rushing into the garage to go to work in the morning only to be hit in the face with the stench of dog urine and then have to take the time to clean it up when I'm usually already running a little late.

sweetpea, I'm with you on that one! Oliver is such a Mama's Boy. Minimally, he was neglected in his prior home. But I also suspect abuse as he is terrified of men in particular. He's got a great life now, though. :D

My dog NEVER runs out of energy, and it is very hard to get him wound down once he is up. If he gets up in the middle of the night to go outside, he will run around for about another two hours unless we get him calmed down. I wish he would just REMEMBER to do that without our help!

I'm the opposite. I wish Penny wouldn't hide from strangers. She's such a pretty and intelligent cat, I'd love for others to experience her personality, also.

my roommate's pointer/lab puppy gets super excited to see people. i've had to wash my sheets and clothes numerous times bc she pees all over everything when she gets excited.

I live in a high rise, and every single time we take the elevator he gets up on his hind legs and tries to get the attention of the people in there. If they don't give him attention, he'll just keep doing it and staring at them for the whole ride. He doesn't get it that not every person in our building is interested in him.

I don't know why or what it is, but B-Bop hates puppies. He can be at the dog park just having a grand ol time and as soon as a puppy walks in he growls and turns into a butt head. It's horrible! Especially because puppies are always so curious and seem to love him. Luckily dog school starts tomorrow, hopefully we'll learn something there!
