Taylor Swift Donates $10,000 to Help Boy With Autism Pay For a Service Dog

Jacob is a 5-year-old boy with "bright captivating eyes and a contagious smile," his nana, Susan Garcia, wrote on a GoFundMe page she set up for him. She went on to say that Jacob has autism, and his mother recently discovered the service dog program that could change his life. However, Autism Service Dogs of America can't begin training a service dog until it is paid for in full, despite the fact that Jacob has qualified for the program.

Jacob's family set up the GoFundMe page in hopes that friends and family would help them out, and Jacob's older sister and cousin even posted a video of themselves singing their own version of "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift.

And you know what happens when Taylor finds out her fans need her help.

Taylor and her mom, Andrea, found the video and donated $10,000 to Jacob's cause. They also included the message below:

Taylor and her mom's donation officially tipped the GoFundMe page over the goal, putting Jacob one step closer to getting a service dog that will grant him independence and companionship, all while keeping him safe.
