It was an upset that left fans of favored bloodhound Nathan heartbroken. Sky, a 5-year-old wire fox terrier, won the crown, giving the breed its 14th win at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show. Terriers have won 46 times over the 138 years of the dog show, making them the big winners of any group. Bloodhounds, nor any hounds, have ever won best in show.
Maybe next year, Nathan.
Sky celebrated her win while patiently waiting for photographers to stop snapping photos and then happily covering her handler's face with big licks. Congratulations on the win, Sky!
