Would You Wear a Pet's Name Around Your Neck?

Would You Wear a Pet's Name Around Your Neck?

Now LC's funky dog tag with Chloe's name is a bit different than that Carrie-style necklace (you could easily customize with your furry friend's name instead of your own), but would I choose these . . . I just don't know. On the one hand, I love my dog's name – and monogramming his stuff – but I'm not sure about wearing his name on me. Are you buying in?

I don't think a standard nameplate necklace is appropriate for an animal name as it can be confused as your name. Also, as mentioned, if you have more that one pet it's a problem. However, if you have one pet then a dog, cat, horse, bunny pendant, etc. with your pet's name on it would not be confusing. http://www.wow-imports.com has some beautiful handmade sterling silver personalized animal theme namplate necklaces. I bought from them ($33.95 including shipping!) and was very pleased and in my conversation with them, they can also make them in 14k gold and may soon offer them as key chains as well and offer more dog options.

No. Mostly because I have more than 1 pet, and I'd feel bad leaving any of them out lol.

I think it would be cute if done right. I would look like Mr. T though. :P

Sure I would! My pup is family to me.

Nah... People would probably think Frida is MY name. Although I could totally put her name on a keychain and hang it on my purse or something, wouldn't that be cute and less confusing?

I would if it weren't too expensive.
