Battle of the Stereotypes

I know a lot of people who live in urban areas can't adopt certain breeds because so many apartments have breed restrictions.

Other breeds that have trouble being adopted out are Australian Cattle Dogs, Chows, Bull Dogs, and German Shepherds. The shelter I volunteered at had a pair of ACD that had been there almost 30 months before they found a forever home. That's a long time to spend in a shelter. It's sad - their owner died and they ended up living over two years in a kennel.
