Jimmy Kimmel poked fun at the video this week on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, silently edging into a very similar cut of the actual "Blurred Lines" music video — right down to Pharrell's dance moves. The physical comedy here is spot-on, and I dare you not to laugh when Kimmel plays with Thicke's ears.

Robin Thicke's single "Blurred Lines" has just hit No. 1 on the Billboard chart, and we know why: it's the definition of a Summer jam. Not only does it get you excited for warm weather and outdoor festivities, but it's also a great song to listen to while you're getting ready to go out on the town. The beat is seriously catchy — you can't help but tap your feet, bob your head, and sing along to the sexy, playful lyrics. Pharrell Williams successfully sampled Marvin Gaye's classic "Got to Give It Up" on the track (as well as Michael Jackson's signature falsetto), and both Robin and T.I. lay it on thick with lots of flirty charm and commanding hooks. It's the perfect song for getting people off their feet at a backyard BBQ or poolside party, and it just begs to be blasted while riding in the car with the windows down.

Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z came out in NYC tonight to support their friend Pharrell Williams at the 10th anniversary party of his clothing line, Billionaire Boys Club. Hip-hop's power couple took a seat at the dinner table next to Pharrell inside the event, which was held at the Tribeca Canvas. Also present at the dinner party was Pharrell's business partner and Billionaire cofounder Nigo, as well as rappers Busta Ryhmes and Q-Tip. While Pharrell played host for the night and carried out a speech at one point in the evening, Beyoncé and Jay-Z kept each other company during the rather low-key celebration.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z kicked off their return to the Big Apple with a date night after a busy weekend abroad. The couple took the stage together at the Chime For Change benefit concert in London on Saturday. Jay's leading lady headlined the show, which helped raise funds for education, health, and justice for women worldwide. Beyoncé will continue to work her stage presence as she prepares for the North American leg of her The Mrs. Carter Show world tour, beginning on June 28 at the Staples Center in LA.
Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart made a stylish appearance at Hakkasan Nightclub's grand opening at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday. Jennifer stunned in a clingy little black dress while her boyfriend rocked a bright red blazer on the carpet. Miley hasn't confirmed when the new record will come out, but she did give fans a taste of her new sound last week when she and Snoop Dogg released a new single together titled "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks." It was a special night in Brooklyn yesterday when Jay-Z opened the Barclays Center with a sold-out concert that kicked off a string of upcoming performances. The stadium is the new home of Jay-Z's Brooklyn Nets basketball team, and he shared on stage, "I want to thank you, Brooklyn, New York City, for making me the man I am today. Like I said, everybody's from Brooklyn tonight." The celebration continued when Jay-Z and his wife, Beyoncé Knowles, partied postshow at the D'Usse VIP lounge inside the venue. Jay-Z and Beyoncé launched the special D'Usse cognac with a bash at NYC's La Marina restaurant earlier this week.
Jay-Z was the center of attention last night at the launch party for the new cognac, D'ussé, at the Top of the Standard. He went to the NYC hotel despite the big playoff game going down between the NY Knicks and the Miami Heat. That wasn't a problem for Jay-Z though — the Standard wheeled out a big screen so Jay could watch the action in his VIP area. Beyoncé Knowles didn't join her husband, but her little sister Solange was on hand along with Pharrell Williams and a bearded Jake Gyllenhaal, who politely declined being photographed when he arrived just before 10 p.m. Jay-Z was also treated to a soundtrack of his own greatest hits at the Standard, since DJ Jus-Ske played "Otis" and more for the crowd. Beyoncé and Jay-Z were together on Tuesday evening, when they attended a bash for mutual friend Erica Reid's new book.
