Even Kate Middleton Has Yoga-Pants Days

Kate Middleton may be royalty, but she still gets a day off from being a princess. The Duchess of Cambridge took her dog, Lupo, and her son, Prince George, out for a walk in London on Thursday, one day ahead of her appearance at Northolt High School. Kate was dressed down in yoga pants, a knitted short-sleeved shirt, and a white scarf, and she made sure to pick up after little Lupo after he relieved himself on the grass.

Kate's time with her son must have been a nice break from a busy week of royal engagements. In addition to her visit to a London school, Kate also made a solo appearance at the National Portrait Gallery for its annual gala. Her fashion choices made headlines once again, as she stepped out in Queen Elizabeth II's Nizam of Hyderabad Cartier necklace. The duchess has reportedly been given increased access to the family jewels, as the queen is giving Kate a "princess makeover" to prepare her to take on the role of the Princess of Wales and, eventually, queen.

Kate's husband, Prince William, has been busy with his own duties over the past week. On Friday, he and Prince Harry attempted to maintain a low profile when they helped with flood relief efforts in Datchet, England. The two were on what Kensington Palace called "a private mission," but they were soon discovered by reporters and photographers.
