Pharrell's Oscars Night Includes Shorts, Shimmying With Meryl Streep, and, of Course, That Hat

Pharrell Williams stepped onto the Oscars red carpet with his wife, Helen Lasichanh, wearing shorts! The cropped tuxedo look was a departure from the sea of long pants, but once inside the show, Pharrell joined the pants party. He also brought out his favorite accessory of late — his Vivienne Westwood hat, for his performance of "Happy," which was the first musical number of the night. He mixed things up during the song by getting stars, including Amy Adams, Meryl Streep, and Lupita Nyong'o, out of their front-row seats to dance.
