For Ellen, Selfies and Scare Tactics Always Come First

Ellen DeGeneres may have left her dancing shoes at home, but her enthusiasm has had no limits on the Oscars stage in LA on Sunday. In the first half hour of the broadcast, the host with the most decided to take a little break and snap a selfie. Ellen shared the photo on Twitter, writing, "#Oscars #Blessed #blurry." Later, Ellen snuck up on Sandra Bullock and Leonardo DiCaprio, who were sitting in the audience. The actors nearly jumped in their seats when Ellen approached them from behind.

Tonight marks the second time Ellen has hosted the most anticipated awards show of the year. We can't imagine it's hard for the talk show host.
