Kirsten Dunst's Met Gala Death Star Dress Is a Day Late For May the Fourth!

Kirsten Dunst got into the Star Wars Day spirit just one day after May the Fourth with her Death Star-inspired gown for this evening's Met Gala in NYC. While May the Fourth gets most of the Star Wars Day attention, some fans call today "Revenge of the Fifth" after the movie Revenge of the Sith. It's a time to play up your more evil side, so the Death Star fights right in. Kirsten's Rodarte dress was decked out with the iconic image from the beloved sci-fi series. Rodarte actually showed a whole Star Wars collection at fashion week back in February. Kirsten kept the theme going strong right down to her starry-night tights and shoes.

Kirsten arrived with the Rodarte designers, Kate and Laura Mulleavy, as well as their other celebrity guest for the night, Shailene Woodley. Kirsten's dress certainly stood out against the rest of the Met Gala gowns, which skewed more formal thanks to this year's theme.
