The First Pictures of Angelina Jolie as a Newlywed!

Angelina Jolie scouted locations for her new film, By the Sea, in Malta on Friday, less than one week after she got married to longtime partner Brad Pitt last Saturday. While it was hard to make out a wedding ring, the actress was seen wearing a ring on her left hand, although this could also just be her usual engagement ring. Brad was spotted wearing his wedding ring when he popped up in England on Thursday to do press for his newest film, Fury. It appears that, despite all the commotion about their nuptials, the A-list pair have continued with their lives like normal, not even taking a break for an extended exotic honeymoon. Angie hasn't let the wedding bliss distract from one of her other passions — raising awareness about refugees — and she released a surprising statement on Friday about the war in Syria:

Angie will be spending the next few weeks working on her latest project, which she both penned and will direct. The movie stars Angie and Brad as a couple who take a vacation to patch up their marriage troubles. It will be their first time reuniting on screen since 2005's Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
