Variety's Power of Women Event Brings Out Hollywood's Biggest Influencers

Hollywood's A-list actresses, producers, directors, and writers gathered in LA on Friday for Variety's annual Power of Women event. Jennifer Lopez, Reese Witherspoon, and Jane Fonda were just some of the ladies on hand for the star-studded event, which also brought out Eva Longoria, Wild author Cheryl Strayed, and new mom Stacy Keibler, who welcomed daughter Ava Grace in August. On the red carpet, we spoke to model Chrissy Teigen — who told us that her husband, singer John Legend, "might be even more of a feminist" than she is — and inside, Reese took to the podium on behalf of the Malala Fund, just hours after 17-year-old Pakistani child education activist Malala Yousafzai won the Nobel Peace Prize.

Bryce Dallas Howard, Maria Menounos, and Viola Davis also hit the stage to make inspiring speeches. During her moving address, the How to Get Away With Murder star told the crowd, "The word I'd like to eradicate today is 'unspeakable' — everybody's testimony should be spoken."
