She may have grown up in front of the camera, where she was idolized for her beauty, but I can appreciate that Brooke's not afraid to go without makeup. Yoga class, the grocery store, and the airport (barring LAX) are all places you might spot a bare-faced Brooke, much to the chagrin of her daughters. "My daughter wants me to show up to every school event with makeup on and even just dropping her off," she said. "I'm like, 'I'm an icon, do you know that?' and she's like, 'I don't care. I don't even know what that means, but you should wear makeup.'"
But she's only 11, so we'll wait to get her opinion once she puts on her first full face of makeup. Honey, it ain't easy! And I'm sure one day she'll appreciate the fact that even though her mother is one of the most beautiful women in the world, there is no pressure to be anything but an original. "I just want them to feel that they don't need to change how they look to be their beautiful self. Like my mom would say, 'Keep your head high, stand up for who you are, and embrace yourself.'"
