I don't understand the whole female 'bestfriend' thing... I've had female friends I'm closer to than others... but this is a strange level of closeness to me. It's just me I'm sure.

I understand what you mean Mesayme. I don't know this kind of closeness with female friends as well, but when I see this I do think: that would be nice! You have to have no feelings of rivalry whatsoever to be this close I guess. To not view other women as threats.

GORGEOUS!!! This is one of the best pics I've seen of Courtney in a long time (she looks so beautiful!) and Jen looks great and that purse....I LOVE her purse!!!!!
P.S. I don't think their "closeness" is strange at all - they are really best friends and had worked on a show for 10 years together so they are very close. I know a lot of women that are
close to their girlfriends the same way, especially after so many years of friendship..just keeps blossoming and growing as long as there is no drama. It just happens to be these 2 women are
best friends that are celebrities..but there are other celebrity women out there who have best friends that aren't celebrities so we don't get exposed to that side of them or they just don't
get photographed together as often since both aren't famous. Photogs like to zoom in when it's a celebrity with a mystery man or a mystery woman (whatever their opposite gender may be) versus
2 women or 2 men dining/shopping/clubbing together I think 
I see pictures of women like this all the time when they are having a good time, enjoying some wine. It seems perfectly normal to me.

Noo... *lillmarin... I mean it's childlike. Maybe because I'm not the type to tell my friends every little detail or run to them when I have a problem with a man for example. When I need advice I read a book by an expert not ask a woman who's probably as emotional as I am. Close guy friends are much better to talk to. They don't help you drown in a pity party. I guess some women just don't need that kind of security blanket. I have had single friends when I was married and they always ended up causing an argument because they were too needy of my attention. I'm single now so I have single friends. To each his own...
