I wish people would shut the hell up about her hair, do u ever think about the fact that if she grew up Africa not much would have been done to it anyway. Jesus, they wear there hair mostly natural in Africa or braids or very short or in afros like Zs hair is now. So please. Let it go. Give it a rest. She looks fine.
The whole family is adorable and I love how they go to that same art shop all the time.

Love Angelina,
I am with you on Zahara's hair. I don't get what they are yakking about.
Of course, no offense to the ones who don't like her hair.
4The royal family.
5What a silly comment. What would you LIKE them to do with her hair? That is her hair. That is what it looks like. She is 3 years old. Would you like her to get highlights?
I think you may just be uninformed. Zahara is black. That is what many black womens hair LOOKS like. When you see Beyonce, Oprah, Mary J, Naomi Campbell - just so you know: that is NOT their hair.
I think that may confuse people. A lot of black women wear weaves. What you see is NOT really their hair. The exception is often bi-racial women (like me). Hally Berry, Maraih, often their hair is in their natural state. It's a complicated issue.
I really hope folks understand that MOST of the time - not all but MOST - when you see black women in our mass media they are either wearing weaves or their hair is relaxed. We are each free to do what we wish to our body & hair. It's not a judgment call. I just think that many folks don't realize that what they are seeing is not real; as is often the case with concepts of beauty in our society.
Expecting a three year old to be anything OTHER than her sweet little self is beyond silly.
Zahara is a beautiful little girl & her parents are doing the right thing by letting her be her natural stunning self.
6i like angelina with this extra weight, she looks healthy and beautiful. she was terribly skinny before the twins. she'll get there again, but it's nice to see her looking normal.
7Zahara is a beauty lay of the kid.She is the real beauty of the family.
8So refreshing to see such a beautiful family.
9The only one's hair that I don't like is Pax. It needs a trim! It looks stringy.
10Beautiful family as always. You can tell that Baby Z is going to be grow up to be stunning like her mother.
11Awww How great to see Angie and the family one more time!!!I really missed them. And I agree about Pax hair if they could just trim it a little but anyways its their family they have to do what they want no one tells us what to do with our families!!
12Oh and I forgot to mention I love Zahara she is so cute and I love the fact that they have the same type of shoes with Shiloh!!!!The girls rock!!!
13Thats one cute family I can't wait to see Angie on the red carpet!!!I hope Brad will be there too!!!
14I love the Royal Family!!!
15
this family is so beautiful
love them!!
awesome family and i love the art shopping routine they have going..
17wow some of you are so FREAKING uninformed its not even funny, being a BLACK person I'm completely aware of african hair and dont need an education on it from a white or mixed person thank you very much. Only a fool would suggest highlights for a 3 year old.
Most of the little black girls I know, wear their hair in ponytails, their mother's use barretts and clips and find all sorts of ways to dress it up. If angelina doesnt know what to do with her daughters hair, I sure as heck wish she would find some one who does
18see, I think Zahara's hair looks cute and she looks adorable as always. Maddox has had better hairstyles, but whatever. But Pax? Barf!!! Please someone help the little boy out.
19
OM MY GOD!Who r u to suggest how the kids hair should be????
Its not a big deal...about Z's hair,Angie had said before that when ever they do Z's hair she pulls everything off and they have to do it again, maybe Z is NOT comfortable with wearing her
hair in ponytail or any other style! They cant just force her to do her hair just because you guys dont like her hair!
Who cares about their hair? They are beautiful children.Just think how lucky they are, they all made a great family together, they have parents who truly love them and care about them, they have
home, clothes, food and lots of other things and the most important LOVE,if they werent adopted by Brad and Angelina whould u even care about their life?
BTW,Angelina looks great!Mad is so cool,Z is beautiful and Pax is adorable as always!Good to see them again!
20MissyB1984, if that was how you felt than why were you critizing a 3 yr olds hair? How do you know that Angelina "doesn't know what to do" with her daughter's hair? Perhaps she Chooses to have her little girl wear it like that? Who cares if she doesn't put clips etc in her hair?
Oh, and for the record: we aren't called MIXED anymore. Your comment was highly offensive. And just because you are black doesn't automatically mean you are completely aware of African hair...It's not a given...clearly.
21clearly expecting a 3 year old to be properly groomed by their parents is beyond you lulu
22Z is a such a princess but she looks like a boy in this picture. Love Pax and Mad, and Angie looks great.
23I see lots of little girls rocking that hairstyle, it looks cute. maybe she's a tomboy and hates all the clips and stuff. Three year olds are pretty strong willed people, and if she wants her hair a particular way she probably gets her way. It's kind of like saying "all little girls should look this way, dress and pink", "all little african american girls should look this way" just doesn't seem that healthy. Little girls should look the way they want
24What a beautiful family! Love them!
25I agree, Millzee, Angie looks so beautiful and healthy with that little bit of extra weight! I hope she doesn't get back to the skeletal frame she had before the twins! Such a stunning family!
26I agree, Millzee, Angie looks so beautiful and healthy with that little bit of extra weight! I hope she doesn't get back to the skeletal frame she had before the twins! Such a stunning family!
27its good to see the birth of the twins didnt suck out her attention wh*re characteristic.
28She looks so beautiful!!!!
29Angie looks beyond beautiful on the red carpet tonight.
30Her arms are as bony as ever, but her has gain a few pounds around the middle!
31
MissyB, get over yourself. Not every black girl likes to wear her hair in ponytail, and not every black mother uses barretts and clips. Heck, i am an adult and i hate to have those things on
my hair. Angelina Jolie had said in the past that they have a black nanny (who is actually from Africa, that's a continent BTW), so i am pretty sure that Zahara's hair is being taking care
of.
I am always amazed how superficial African Americain women can be, Tyra Banks, anyone?. You hate white girls but yet you spend so much time and money try to look like them .
And this so typical of black people. There are so many things we should be doing in our communities and yet we focus on the nonsense.
So MissyB, you do not detain the secret of how black hair should be styled. So what don't go something more significant for black people or your community.
To each their own, but I think the girl is just too young to have anything done to her hair. And maybe she (Zahara) likes it that way, the fact she's 3 years old doesn't mean she doesn't have an opinion abou ther own hair.
33I'm new to this discussion, but I think it's absurd to suggest that a 3-year-old should wear her hair in any way other than naturally. Beauty is of no importance or concern to a child. And, MissyB, I've noticed that many comments you have made throughout the Sugar Network somehow relate to race. Perhaps you should reflect on this...
34I have no problem with Z' hair, but I did have a slight problem with nguidjol comment. I do not hate all white girls and I do not want to look like them. Ok that's it I'm done.
35I love how people jump to conclusions and assume I "hate" white girls but then try to look like them . . . looks like some one is talking about their own issues here. And also morgs if you're referring to the 4 whole comments out of the hundreds I've made that deal with race, then perhaps you should reflect on your own pitiful existence that you actually took the time to read through my past comments, get a life dear
36Lulumay- And did you notice that even Halle was rocking kinda curlier, more "textured" hair when she was preggers? She probably couldn't get it permed/relaxed because of the chemicals.
I'm not black but I worked in a preschool with black 3, 4 and 5 year olds, and everyone just approached the hair thing differently. Personally, I think the approach they are taking with Z's hair is the cutest, but it would blow my mind when the parents permed/relaxed their daughters' hair! Hi, she's THREE, those are harsh chemicals, and she would look cute with a mini-fro anyway! The braids were cute too, but not every mom was able to do them, or knew someone who could do them. Especially the white moms with biracial kids!
37I think little girls look cutest with ponytails! I started doing my daughters like that since she was eight months old:)
38This whole discussion seems a bit crazy to me, I've read all the comments and from what I can tell a lot of commenters have jumped all over missyb for suggesting zahara should have a headband or a ponytail in her hair. The only people I've seen suggesting something drastic like chemicals or weaves were the people attacking missyb . . . I thought pop was a happy place
39It is a happy place! Well, the other sugar sites are at least!
40When I was a kid I used to hate headbands, scarfs, bows and barrettes. I'm guessing Zahara is the same way, there's nothing that Angelina or anybody can do if she just doesn't like them. It doesn't make any sense in arguing about it.
41
Wade, it's seems like we agree on one thing, little girls generally don't like things on their hair.
And the reason why people jumped on MissyB, is because she suggest that Angelina Jolie is not taking care of her daughter's hair or her daughter at that matter.
And MissyB, i am pretty happy with myself thank you very much.
"And also morgs if you're referring to the 4 whole comments out of the hundreds I've made that deal with race, then perhaps you should reflect on your own pitiful existence that you actually
took the time to read through my past comments, get a life dear".
Maybe you should reflect on your own pitiful existence MissyB, that you are actually commenting on a three year girl
Oh my God, what is wrong with people that they need to criticise and comment on a childs hair. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with Z's hair. She looks gorgeous. Its thick and natural. Why
is there a need to do anything with it?!!!
there is no need for piggy tails or headbands if she doesn't want to. She can wear it however she god damn likes. Get over yourself
Its so pathetic how people who call others pitiful for commenting on a 3 year old are THEMSELVES commenting on a 3 year old AND comments about a 3 year old. Maybe all of you should get over YOURSELVES.
44As the white parent of a black child, I take extra care with my toddler's hair because I know she'll get teased if I don't, and that people will make assumptions about my abilities to parent a black child as well. If you're going to parent cross-racially, it's not out of line to expect that you will learn how to handle some of the differences, especially something as fraught with drama as hair.
I'm fine with Z's hair in an Afro as long as it's combed out, it's just that it looks ratted and messy too much of the time. If you wanna go au naturel, put it in dreadlocks and be done with it.
Actually I think she'd be mad cute with locks.
45OMG you people who are OBSESSED with this family need a life... they are BORING
