Annual Museum Day and National Public Lands Day Are on Sept. 26

Free Admission to Museum, Parks, and Attractions on Sept. 26

Plan ahead to enjoy a free activity or two on Sept. 26. — Smithsonian’ magazine's fifth Annual Museum Day and National Public Lands Day both happen to fall on the Saturday.

Admission to the 15 Smithsonian Institution museums is free all year round, but 1,200 other museums, zoos, and arts/cultural attractions also offer free entry on Annual Museum Day. National Public Lands Day is a day when parks across the country waive their typical fees; find a site at publiclandsday.org.
