I only had my own wedding and that was a huge splurge... but mostly for the honeymoon. I only had 13 guests- all immediate family- and it was perfect.

Didn't go to any weddings this year but my wedding...$80 on a marriage license...we saved our money for a nice down payment on a house! I think a nice big wedding is always very lovely but unless someone wants to give me the money for it...not for me!

Ugg.... only went to 2 weddings this year, but my boyfriend was a groomsman in one and I was the Maid of Honor in another (with only 2 other bridesmaids that didnt feel the need to participate in anything other than attendence). Needless to say I will answer with "too much"....

oh, god...after really sitting here and doing the math, i'm mildly nauseous...we had 5 this year, but i was in two of them and my husband was in one, so with all the little extras that go into throwing the parties leading up to the wedding, as well as matching get-ups and gifts...thankfully, we only have two for next year, so far

Around $400...we got invited to 3, attended 2 of them, and had to buy gifts for the couples and clothes to wear to the weddings. Too many people got married this year!

I give a standard $100 unless I'm somehow participating in the wedding, then I give more. I only went to 4 weddings this year, and I've been to many.

Well more than $4,000 but it was my own wedding, so it was money well spent!
