The US hasn't exactly been a happy place for job seekers this year, but some parts of the country have provided better opportunities than others. U.S. News scoured its database of 2,000 cities and sorted out the ones with below average unemployment rates along with noticeable job growth since the year 2000, and highlighted the cities with a variety of opportunities.
