Yes, it's worth it, especially during these current hard times where a degree can somewhat secure your job or facilitate your job hunting depending on your career. I've been at my current employer for nine years, when I started I had one year of college under my belt, took a leave of abscence that embarassingly lasted eight years. In the meantime I worked my way up the ladder and from office clerk up to program coordinator a position that requires a degree. Currently, my boss had encouraged me to go back to school and I did. I thought it would be hard working full time and going to school but I'm pulling through and currently will start my third semester. I feel as an adult going back to school you retain more information because you take it more seriously and become more proficient in your field if your studies relate to your job.
