Cassandra57 7 years I have also learned to compartmentalize my life: work stays at work, home stays at home. It is almost a weekly thing and they are great company because they have the same sense of humor as me and can still show up to work at 8am the next day :true: CYL 7 years i keep my personal life personal and my work life professional. tee0206 7 years I'm kind of in a strange position where I work remotely, and all the people in my department are married with kids. They don't go to happy hours, but even just going to lunch with them for birthdays can be kind of awkward for me. When I had a job that involved working with lots of people with similar lifestyles, we went out to happy hour at least once a week. I still go out with some of them. Our bosses rarely went with us, though. Tami715 7 years I pretty much go for the booze... but my boss and co-workers are all pretty cool, so it's always a good time. cubadog 7 years I go because I want a cocktail, my boss doesn't drink so he doesn't go plus we are already friends. sfbutterfly24 7 years I go to be with my friends who sometimes happen to be my boss or co-workers. But mainly because of the cheaper drinks!!!
