I have had a couple of people come in and clean on a regular basis. every 2 weeks usually. Although they always start out really thorough, it seems they slack after a few visits. Why is that? I'm clear up front with my expectations and we always agree on a payment schedule. Any suggestions?????

No way. I'm not that lazy; it seems like a waste of money to me. I'd rather spend that money on something useful.

If I could afford it, I would... I hate doing chores! I would love to hire someone to do the yard too!

Worth every penny and then some! Having my nights and weekends free to live my life is amazing.

Yes Bit my kids don't get it A baby sitter asked my kids if they wanted to see her house. They said yes. Later, my then 6 year old asked why the maid was there at night. I said that was her room mate. My daughter was like, "no. She was cleaning the bathroom". Yeah. As we all are in the beginning.

Best decision I've made, it has freed up weekends to spend with my family and friends rather than scrubbing toilets.

Having someone come every other week is how I know that I've "made it" as an adult --- after all, what are we working so hard for if we still do the less than fun parts ourselves instead of spending what little free time we have doing what we enjoy?

I do it all myself. It seems like an unnecessary luxury to have somebody clean my house (although it sure would be nice!)
